Frequently Asked Questions

Mountain Range of Motion is here to answer your questions regarding telehealth physical therapy and online wellness services.  Register now to set up a free consult to see if telehealth physical therapy is right for you. Please feel free to call or email the clinic with any additional questions.

  • How do I book a free consult?
New patients will click on Patient Registration and fill out the information in the HIPAA compliant patient portal (PtEverywhere). Once you are registered you will be able to navigate to the schedule screen in the patient portal or click on Book Appointment to schedule the free consult. During the consult you will meet with a Doctor of Physical Therapy to ensure that telehealth will meet your medical needs. If it is determined that in person care is necessary for your condition or if further testing is required prior to starting care we will assist with the coordination of care.
  • How do I book an evaluation or treatment session?
As a new patient click on Patient Registration and fill in the information in the HIPAA compliant patient portal (PtEverywhere). Once you are registered you will be able to navigate to the schedule in the patient portal or click Book Appointment to bring you to the schedule for available appointments. You may also call the clinic to schedule a free consult, evaluation or treatment session. 1. Book a 10 minute free consult. This will allow you to meet with the therapist and see if telehealth is right for you and your condition. 2. After the free consult you will be able to book a physical therapy evaluation through the patient portal (click patient portal login and navigate to the schedule screen), by clicking Book Appointment or by calling the clinic to set up an appointment. 3. Once the physical therapy evaluation is completed the therapist will make recommendations on treatment length and frequency based on your individual condition and goals. Treatment appointments may be booked by clicking Book Appointment, through the patient portal or by calling Mountain Range of Motion, LLC at 207-696-3688.
  • Do I need a physicans referral to start physical therapy?
No, you can start right away! Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont and Florida are direct access states for physical therapy services. This means that you are able to start physical therapy with or without a referral from a physician. The therapist will request authorization to communicate with your physician in order to coordinate your care throughout your course of treatment. In Maine: if progress is not made within 30 days or if treatment is required beyond 120 days you will be referred to see your physician at that time. In Florida: if PT treatment is required beyond 30 days for a condition not previously assessed by a practitioner of record, the PT shall obtain a practitioner of record who will review and sign the plan. In Maine, Massachusetts, and Florida: if the evaluating therapist finds that your condition is out of their scope of practice they will make referrals as needed throughout your course of treatment.
  • Will I have the same therapist each visit?
